2. How Customer Card Information Is Protected (PCI-DSS Compliance)

  • End-to-End TLS 1.3 Encryption: All browser-to-server traffic is encrypted via Let's Encrypt RSA/ECDSA TLS certificates with HSTS enforcement.
  • Zero Local Card Vaulting: Burhani Pro Tech's database (`burhani_store.db`) stores only the payment method type (e.g., Credit Card, Wire Transfer, or Direct Purchase Order — Net-30 Terms) and never stores raw PAN (Primary Account Numbers) or CVV codes.
  • AVS & CVV Fraud Verification: Commercial card orders require matching Billing Street Address and ZIP Code (Address Verification System) to protect cardholders against unauthorized use.
  • High-Value Hardware Verification: For commercial credit card orders exceeding $10,000 USD or shipping to an address different from the verified card billing address, our Order Verification Desk may contact the buyer by phone or work email prior to warehouse release.

3. Refunds & Credits Back to Original Payment Method
